Mistletoe Fun Fact Number 1:
Druids believed mistletoe held magical properties, and if it fell to the ground while being cut (with a golden sickle, nonetheless) on the summer or winter solstice, it lost all it’s powers.

Did you know in Norse mythology Loki killed the Sun God with mistletoe?

In ye olden Saxon times, a man could demand kisses from any woman who passed beneath a mistletoe bough, and he would pluck a berry with each kiss. No more berries, no more kisses! And denial from a lady beneath the mistletoe risks dying unmarried.
But in Every Kiss, Gia is more than willing to risk such a scandalous fate, no matter how tempting (or not tempting) her competitor Ian may be.

I wish I had a good mistletoe story, how fun! The only time I didn’t knowingly stand under to be cute with my current love was a bit awkward. It was with a police officer that I worked with & we were both in serious relationship, though admittedly I wouldn’t have minded smooching him if everyone wasn’t watching. I should write my own tale of what I wish would have happened, that could be a passionate story even if a one time fling. Sigh. Luckily we just laughed & he kissed me on the forehead. But in the story we could finish it off later in a secluded office somewhere? Hmmm…. 😉
